Snow and More Snow

This was taken in our backyard on Friday night.

By Saturday morning, the phones were down and the internet was gone.

Several trees were on their side, including a very large willow tree by the creek.
We are so thankful that it fell away from the house, instead of into the house!

We have a new bridge over our creek! It is more earthy, kind of like a large tree on its side.
Oh yeah, it is a large tree on its side!
When the snow melts, we will have a great pick up stick party,
along with a cut the shredded trees party.

The phones came back on Saturday afternoon,
but we did not get our internet back until yesterday.
I am thankful that we had power and a phone!

I am amazed how much that large amount of snow has already melted.
At least it was beautiful for a few days.

M & M's

Do you know how hard it is to stay away from 100 pounds of M & M's in the kitchen?

We stock them for the monster cookies, so we have to make sure that we have plenty available.

The chocolate chips used to be my demise.

Now it is the M & M's.

Since I am the official "Director of Taste Testing,"
I need to make sure that the M & M's are acceptable to put in the mixes.

That is my excuse and I am sticking to it!
